About Me

Hello my name is Shawn Glass, I am a Senior at Arizona State University majoring in Secondary Education with a focus on History.

I have taken classes in Political Science and plan to apply for graduate school for a Masters in History after I graduate and have started teaching.

I am also involved in several student orgnizations at ASU: former Senator for Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College in Undergraduate Student Government at West, President of Students for Concealed Carry at Arizona State University, and current Director of Communications for College Republicans at ASU's West campus.

I am currently student teaching U.S. History at Carl Hayden Community High School. To help my students succeed I have developled a webpage for them that contains all of the work that we are doing in class. Click here to explore my class webpage. Every lesson that I teach in my classroom has a lesson plan that goes with it, if you are interested in a specific lesson please contact me so I can share the lesson with you.

To teach today one must keep the attention of their audience

For many of us the classroom dynamic has changed drastically. The old ways of class long lectures and five page papers do not teach the students what they need to know. We as the educator need to use every avenue that we can.

Here I have a list of new resources that I have found and have tried in my internship. If you have a new resource plase share it here.
